The agreement
These terms are between you and VOIDMAW ENTERTAINMENT SRL,
Municipiul Timișoara, Jud. Timiș, Strada Frații Buzești, Nr. 11, Ap. 1, Romania
(“we”, “us”). They govern your use of the Voidride app and
this website. By creating an account you accept them.
If you do not accept them, do not create an account. If you already have one, you can
delete it at any time.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. This is checked when you register and it is
not negotiable. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it.
You also need a device with location services and a working internet connection.
Your account
- One account per person. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Only one device can be signed in and playing at a time. Signing in elsewhere ends the earlier session.
- Choose a username and display name that do not impersonate someone else, and are not offensive or misleading.
- Tell us promptly at support@voidride.app if you think someone else has access to your account.
Real-world safety — read this one
You are playing outdoors, in traffic, among other people
Voidride rewards movement through real places. Nothing in the game is worth your
safety or anyone else's.
- Never play while driving, cycling in traffic, or operating anything that needs your attention.
- Look up. Watch for vehicles, obstacles, drops, water and other people. Do not walk while staring at the screen.
- Obey the law. Traffic rules, trespass, and any local restriction apply to you exactly as they would if the app did not exist.
- Stay out of private property, restricted or dangerous areas, and anywhere you are not welcome. No part of the map is an invitation to enter somewhere.
- Use judgement about where and when. Consider the area, the hour and whether you are alone.
- Respect other people. Do not use the game to follow, find or harass anyone.
You play at your own risk and you remain responsible for your own conduct in the world.
Conduct
While using Voidride, you must not:
- harass, threaten, stalk, bully or incite violence against anyone;
- post or send content that is illegal, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or that depicts or promotes serious harm;
- use the app to locate, follow or approach another player without their agreement;
- falsify your location by any means — mock location providers, modified clients, rooted-device tooling or otherwise;
- modify, reverse engineer or automate the client, or interact with our servers using anything other than the official app;
- attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent our security or rate limits;
- share another person's private information;
- sell, buy, or transfer accounts, or trade in-game items for money outside the app;
- impersonate us, our staff, or another player.
Your content
What you write, upload and say stays yours. You give us a licence to store, transmit and
display it strictly to run the service — to deliver a message to the channel you
sent it to, and nothing beyond that. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except
for copies retained in backups for a limited period.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
Everything else — the app, the maps, the art, the name and the mark — belongs
to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it.
Virtual items and purchases
- Void Bucks are a licence, not money. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred, sold or inherited.
- Void Bucks buy cosmetics and ability charges inside the game. Ability charges are consumed when used.
- Purchases are processed by the app store you bought through, under that store's terms. Refunds are handled by that store.
- Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Where the right of withdrawal applies to digital content, note that by starting to use a purchase immediately you may lose it — the store will tell you at the time.
- We may add, retune, reprice or retire items, abilities and their balance. This is a live game and its economy will change.
- If your account is closed for breaking these terms, unused Void Bucks and items are lost and are not refunded.
Enforcement, and your right to argue back
If you break these terms we may remove content, limit features, suspend your account, or
close it. What we do depends on how serious it is, whether it was deliberate, and whether
it has happened before.
- We will tell you. When we act against your account or your content, we will say what we did and why.
- You can contest it. Reply to us at support@voidride.app and a person will look at it again. If we got it wrong we will reverse it.
- Immediate action is reserved for cases involving a credible risk to someone's safety, sexual content involving minors, or an active attack on the service.
You can also stop any individual interaction yourself: blocking someone cuts them off
from messaging you, calling you and seeing you on the map, in one action.
Availability and changes
Voidride is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free
or preserved forever — it depends on your device, your connection, GPS accuracy and
third-party services we do not control.
We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely we will
give reasonable notice and a window to export your data.
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you in the app before they
take effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept them; if you do not, delete
your account.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost
progress, lost virtual items, or loss arising from your own conduct in the physical world
while playing.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our
negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Romanian or EU
law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights in your country of residence
are unaffected by these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer resident in the European
Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country and you may
bring proceedings in your local courts.
