Voidride Coming soon

Voidride

The map starts dark.
You clear it by moving.

Voidride turns the real world into a map you have to uncover. Every street you travel burns back the fog — and what you uncover stays yours.

Coming to Google Play

How it works

Three things, and they all happen outside

There is no lobby and no level select. The board is the city you are standing in.

Fog

The world begins hidden. Your position lifts a circle of fog around you, and the ground you have walked stays revealed. Your map becomes a record of where you have actually been.

Riders

Other people are on the same map at the same time, moving live. Friends and crew show their colours. Everyone else is an anonymous arrow — no name, no trail.

Crews

Build a crew, run your own servers with channels and voice, and ride as a party. The whole interface retones to your crew colour while you are out together.

Explore

Ground you have to earn

Countries and regions are tracked separately, so a trip across town and a trip across a border are different achievements.

The Atlas shows everything you have opened up, region by region, with the edges of the unknown drawn where you stopped. Distance and area explored are ranked globally — all-time, and rolling by day, week, month and year.

Together

A crew, a channel, a live voice line

Voidride carries a full communication layer, not a chat box bolted to a game.

Servers with text channels, direct messages, images and voice notes, one-to-one calls and live voice rooms you can drop into while you ride. Party up and everyone sees the same objectives, the same map, the same colour.

Progression

Look like someone who has been out there

Levels unlock abilities. Cosmetics are how the rest of the map reads you at a glance.

Abilities

Scan a kilometre of map from where you stand, raise a watchtower, go quiet, or shield the ground around you. Every ability is gated behind a level you have to reach on the road.

Cosmetics

Arrows, trails, auras and vision rings — more than a hundred of them, hand drawn for this map rather than pulled off a shelf.

Standing

Crew levels, region mastery and prestige. Reach the top and the entire interface turns gold for as long as you wear it.

One detail we are proud of

The app changes colour with who you are riding with

Not a theme picker. Voidride retones itself from what is happening on the map, so a glance at the screen tells you your situation before you have read a word.

Solo

Out on your own. The default red of your own arrow.

Party

Riding as a crew. Everything shifts to crew purple.

Friends

Friend surfaces stay blue whatever else is going on.

Prestige

Worn, not chosen. Gold is a thing other players can see.

Safety and data

A location game has to be straight with you

Voidride runs on where you are. That is a serious thing to hand over, so here is exactly what happens to it.

Adults only
Voidride is 18+. The age check runs on our servers, not in the app, and it applies to Google sign-in too.
Location runs the game
Your position drives the fog, the map and who can see you. It is not used to build an advertising profile, because there is no advertising.
Strangers cannot identify you
Anyone who is not your friend, your crew or a party member sees an anonymous arrow with an identifier that is different for every viewer.
No ads, no tracking SDKs
The app ships with no advertising network and no third-party analytics library. Nothing about your movement is sold.
Block anyone
Blocking is one tap and it cuts them off everywhere at once — messages, calls and the map.
Leave with your data, or without it
Export everything we hold on you, or delete your account and it goes — including the images you uploaded, not just the rows pointing at them.

Play safely

Voidride is played in the real world. Watch where you are going, obey the road, stay out of private property and restricted areas, and never play while driving. No square on a map is worth it.

Not out yet

Voidride is in the last stretch before release

It is coming to Google Play first, with iOS to follow. There is nothing to sign up for here and no mailing list to join — this page collects nothing.
